Leh: A Memorandum of Understanding for “Introduction of Courses in Bhoti Language & Bodh Darshan” between National Institute of Open Schooling and Indian Himalayan Council of Nalanda Buddhist Tradition, Ministry of Culture (Govt. of India).
The event took place at in Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh.
It is pertinent to mention here that Bhoti language or Ladakhi language is the principal language in the region of Ladakh. There are almost 200,000 speakers of Bhoti language in India. It is generally written in Tibetan script.
