Khaltse, September 12, 2025: A two-day Reorientation Training Programme for ASHAs of Khaltse Block commenced today at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Khaltse, under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmad. The training will continue on September 13, 2025. The sessions were conducted by District ASHA Coordinator (DAC) Yaya Khan and Block ASHA Coordinator (BAC) Tsewang Norboo, who briefed the participants in detail about the objectives and key components of the training. The programme was actively attended by all ASHAs of Khaltse.
In the Silk Route Ultra of the Ladakh Marathon 2025, the women’s category witnessed outstanding endurance – Sufiya (Sufi Runner) secured 1st place – Asha Singh finished 2nd, while – Corina Vandam took the 3rd position.
