Leh, November 15, 2025: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh, in partnership with the 17000 ft Foundation, has begun distributing specially developed workbooks to students of foundational classes across government schools in the district. The initiative, launched under the guidance of the Director of the School Education Department, UT Ladakh, is aimed at strengthening early-grade learning and advancing the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) goals outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Distribution of the workbooks begins today, with DIET Leh urging all government schools to collect their allotted sets.
