Leh, November 13: In a swift and coordinated operation, a Bomb Disposal Team from the Fire and Fury Corps successfully destroyed an unexploded ordnance (UXO) found near the Housing Colony area of Keylong, Leh.
Upon receiving information from the UT Ladakh Administration, the Army’s Fire and Fury Sappers immediately responded, cordoned off the area, and carried out a thorough search before safely neutralising the explosive device.
The timely cooperation between the Army and the Civil Administration averted a potential disaster, ensuring the safety of residents and preventing any loss of life or property.
Officials lauded the prompt action and coordination that once again demonstrated the strong synergy between civilian authorities and the Indian Army in ensuring public safety in the region.
