Leh: Government Degree College Khaltse actively participated in Mission Clean Indus 2025 by conducting a cleanliness drive across its campus today. Students and faculty worked together to clean classrooms, the library, girls’ hostel, and surrounding areas. Alongside the drive, a poster-making competition on the theme “Mission Clean Indus” was held to engage students creatively. Sonam Gyasto and Tsewang Dorjay won first place, followed by Sonam Yangdol and Rigzin Tsomo in second, and Rinchen Dolker and Stanzin Chukit in third. Jammu:  Intermittent firing and deafening sounds of explosions rattled a forested area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district as the operation to neutralise terrorists entered the second day on Monday, officials said. Srinagar: Two police officers died in an accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway here, an official said on Monday. Three sub-inspectors travelling from Srinagar to Jammu after performing Amarnath Yatra duty met with an accident at Tengan in Lasjan area of the city, the official said. The injured police officers were rushed to a hospital where two of them were declared brought dead. The deceased have been identified as Sachin Verma and Shubham, while the injured officer has been identified as Mastan Singh, he said.

Jammu:  The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have solved a 10-month-old murder case by arresting two Bihar natives, and recovering the weapon of offence from them.
