In Punpun, Laga, and Nimgo villages, troops conducted self-defence training for girls, promoting confidence and awareness. In Shyok, a “Know Your Army” programme familiarised children and villagers with the dedication and daily life of soldiers serving in extreme terrains. In Tangtse, students received books, sweets, gifts, and essential items, making the celebrations both educational and joyful.
Officials said these initiatives reflect the Corps’ ongoing commitment to nurturing, empowering, and connecting with the youth across the region.
