Ladakh, Oct 5: Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps, visited the Forward Posts of the Forever In Operations Division and Siachen Brigade to review the operational preparedness and security situation in the region.
During the visit, the GOC interacted with the troops deployed in extreme high-altitude areas and commended their professionalism, resilience, and unwavering commitment while performing their duties in challenging conditions.
Lt Gen Bhalla also appreciated the integration of modern technology by field formations to enhance operational efficiency and situational awareness along the northern borders.
Exhorting all ranks to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness and professionalism, the GOC reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to ensuring the sanctity of the nation’s frontiers and supporting soldiers operating in the world’s toughest terrain.
