The meeting, convened by SDM Mohd Sharif, focused on identifying and monitoring waste dumping sites in and around the Indus River. All members of the Flying Squad—formed under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Leh—participated in the session.
Key attendees included Hon’ble Councillor Khaltse Lobzang Sherab, SHO Jamyang Namgail, BDO Pankaj Rajput, Forest Range Officer Deskyong Namgyal, JCO Harjit Singh, MO Ashutosh Dirit, along with representatives from BRO, ITBP, and Nambardars from Skurbuchan, Lehdoo, Temisgam, Skindiyang, Takmachik, Urbis, Nurla, Wanla, Tar, and Dha/Bema.
