Khalsar, Nubra — The ongoing Mimang-si-rJabstogs – Administration at Your Doorstep initiative reached Khalsar village today, where a comprehensive public outreach camp was held under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Diskit, Tufail Iqbal.
The camp aimed at delivering essential government services directly to residents, ensuring easier access to welfare schemes and grievance redressal. Heads of all departments from the Diskit Sub-Division participated, presenting detailed briefings on their schemes and interacting with villagers to address concerns and clarify queries.
The outreach witnessed an active public turnout, with villagers availing a wide range of on-spot services. These included the issuance of 4 Vay Vandana cards, 24 Golden Cards, 2 Ladakh Residence Certificates, 6 Domicile Certificates, 3 Income Certificates, 17 ST certificates, 3 new entries, 2 eKYC updates, along with several other welfare-related documents.
Officials assured that the concerns raised by locals would be taken up promptly with the concerned departments, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to accessible and responsive governance.
