Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, twelve new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.

While a total of 174 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 129 sample reports in Leh and 33 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that twelve patients were cured and discharged, all were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh received 12 positive sample were received, all were received by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is, 102 out of which 96 active cases are in Leh district and 06 active cases are in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 2273 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 352 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 153 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
