Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, eighteen new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.

While a total of 320 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 273 sample reports in Leh and 29 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that seven patients were cured and discharged, out of which 06 were discharged by CMO Leh and 01 were discharged by CMO Kargil. UT Ladakh received 18 positive sample were received, out of which 16 were received by CMO Leh and 02 by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is, 75 out of which 69 active cases are in Leh district and 06 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1891 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 392 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 196 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
