Leh: Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), GoI, V. Hekali Zhimomi called on the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson. She was accompanied by Dy Secretary, MoHFW, Dr. Poonam Meena.

The officials deliberated on various projects of MoHFW ongoing in Ladakh especially the status of funds released for the construction of Medical College. Various issues like upgradation of Primary Health Centres including one of Khaltse, Time-Bound promotions for doctors, besides various other issues were discussed during the meeting.
Joint Secretary, MoHFW took note of the issues flagged by the officials of Health Department Leh and assured to look into the matters working for the best interest of Ladakh.
Director Health Services Ladakh and Chief Medical Officer Leh were also present during the meeting.
