Nubra, October 31, 2025:
To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Government Degree College (GDC) Nubra organised a National Unity March from Diskit Market to the Gyalwa Chamba Statue under the theme “150 Years of Unity – Walk for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.”
Students, faculty, and staff of GDC Nubra participated enthusiastically in the march, paying tribute to the Iron Man of India whose visionary leadership unified the nation’s princely states into one India.
Led by Principal Shri Rigzin Sandup, participants also took the Atmanirbhar Bharat Pledge, reaffirming their dedication to national unity, strength, and self-reliance.
The event celebrated Sardar Patel’s enduring legacy and aimed to rekindle the spirit of unity, harmony, and national integration he championed throughout his life.
