Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seven new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 268 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 91 sample reports in Leh and 170 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that Eleven patients were cured and discharged, out of which 09 were discharged by CMO Leh and 02 were discharged by CMO Kargil. UT Ladakh received 07 positive sample were received, out of which 06 were received by CMO Leh and 01 was received by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 58 out of which 55 active cases are in Leh district and 03 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1524 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 396 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 198 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
