Kargil, Nov 19: Deputy Registrar Cooperatives Kargil, Dr. Sarwar Shahzad (JKAS), along with officials from the Assistant Registrar Cooperatives office, participated in the live streaming of PM Kisan Utsav Diwas organized by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
Assistant Registrars from Shargole, Drass, Chiktan, Tai Suru, and Zanskar attended the event from their respective offices, ensuring district-wide participation.
The national programme highlighted the progress of the PM-KISAN scheme, upcoming farmer-focused initiatives, and policy directions announced by the Prime Minister, emphasizing income security and sustainable growth for farmers.
Dr. Shahzad urged officials to intensify outreach, strengthen digital linkages, and ensure that farmers across Kargil access the full benefits of government schemes. The event concluded with an interactive session addressing field-level queries and reinforcing coordinated efforts for agricultural development.
