Leh: Leh witnessed a rare and spiritually significant moment this morning as His Eminence the 105th Gaden Tripa, Jetsun Lobsang Dorje Pal Sangpo, arrived in the town to a warm and elaborate welcome.
CEC Tashi Gyalson, along with senior monks from Thiksey Gonpa including Chakzot and Gyendun, Councillor Stanzin Chosfail, nominated Sangha Councillor Ven. Konchok Tsepel, BJP State President Tashi Gyaltson Kachu, LBA President Tsering Dorjey Lakrook, LBA Youth President Jigmet Rabstan, CRO Leh Tashi Dhondup, former LBA Changthang President Phunchok Sonam and several others were present at the airport to receive His Eminence.
The visit is being regarded as an immense spiritual blessing for the people of Ladakh.
The Gaden Tripa, as the spiritual head of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, holds a revered position in the Buddhist world.
His presence is expected to inspire religious teachings, community gatherings, and prayers during his stay in the region. Devotees from across Ladakh travelled long distances to witness the welcome, turning the morning into a celebration of faith and unity.
For many, the opportunity to see and receive blessings from His Eminence was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
