Leh: CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson attended the 4th session of the 10th Tibetan Local Assembly of Ladakh as the chief guest at the office of CRO Ladakh, Leh.

Tibetan Local Justice Commissioner, Pema Sangpo, President, Local Tibetan Assembly, Dhondup Tsering, and CRO Ladakh, Dhondup Tashi along with 21 members of the Local Tibetan Assembly from the Tibetan settlements of Leh & Changthang region were present during the session.

While addressing the gathering, CEC Gyalson highlighted the significant role of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in the formation of a democratic Administrative setup for the welfare of Tibetans in exile. He appreciated the local Tibetan Administration for conducting such an assembly to discuss the issues within their community on a single platform with all the stakeholders.
CEC Gyalson reiterated that the Hill Council, Leh is dedicated to developing all sections of the society regardless of race, religion, and nationality. He further added that LAHDC Leh would continue to provide equal assistance and benefits in terms of development to the Tibetans residing in Leh Ladakh.
