Leh: With the aim to sensitize and train the officers and officials of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau of UT Ladakh, the Home Department, UT Ladakh is organising a five days training programme in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), UT J&K as the resource agency.

The inaugural session of the five-day training commenced in the presence of DIG Leh-Kargil Range, UT Ladakh, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood; Additional Secretary, Home Department, UT Ladakh, Tashi Dolma; AIG Hqrs, Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K, Abdul Wahid Shah; AIG (Pers.), Stanzin Nurboo; AIG (Prov.), Sonam Deachen; Senior Superintendent of Police, Leh, P D Nitya at DC Conference Hall.

Highlighting the importance of capacity-building, DIG Leh-Kargil Range, UT Ladakh, reiterated that this training would strengthen the investigating skills of the officers/officials of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau Ladakh.

The training is being imparted to the concerned officers and officials of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, UT Ladakh, Special Investigating Units of Ladakh Police, Revenue Officers/ Officials and Engineers of PWD.

The five days interactive training session would cover different aspects pertaining to Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, including investigation, documentation and scrutinization of cases and the role and functionaries of ACB officers and officials in effectively discharging their duties.
