Basgo, Nov 20: The “Mimang-Si-sJabstogs – Administration at Your Doorstep” campaign reached Basgo village today, where a comprehensive public outreach camp was held under the leadership of Chief Planning Officer Leh, Tsewang Gyalson, who served as the Nodal Officer for the programme.
Officials from multiple departments participated in the camp, offering on-the-spot services and briefing residents on government schemes, welfare provisions and ongoing development projects.
The camp delivered a wide range of essential services to villagers, including 20 Ladakh Resident Certificates, 4 inheritance mutations, 23 revenue extracts, 30 Aadhaar-related services, and ration card updates involving 1 KYC, 19 additions, and 3 deletions.
The Health Department carried out NCD screening for about 60 individuals, issued 4 Golden Cards, and identified two new cases of diabetes and hypertension, ensuring immediate follow-up.
Various departments highlighted key schemes and support programmes:
Handicrafts Department: Training initiatives, weaving support, and marketing assistance under Brand Ladakh.
Power Department (PDD): Awareness on the Solar Rooftop Scheme.
Agriculture Department: Subsidies for irrigation equipment and greenhouse structures.
Horticulture Department: Details on Orchard Development, Solar Crop Dryer subsidies.
Animal Husbandry Department: Cattle improvement programmes, feed subsidies, dairy incentives, scientific breeding, and livestock disease awareness.
Education Department: Encouraged enrolment in government schools and shared updates on PM SHRI scheme opportunities.
During the interaction session, villagers raised several local concerns. The Nodal Officer assured that all major issues would be followed up with the concerned departments. He thanked residents for their active participation and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to resolving community grievances promptly.
The outreach camp is part of the UT Administration’s effort to deliver efficient, accessible, and citizen-centric governance across remote regions of Ladakh.
