Nyoma, Nov 19, 2025: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Nyoma, the highest-altitude KVK in the country, successfully hosted a live webcast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s programme marking the release of the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN.
During the national event, the Prime Minister transferred ₹18,000 crore directly into the bank accounts of nearly 9 crore farmers across India under the PM-KISAN scheme.
Farmers from across the Nyoma block gathered in large numbers at the KVK to witness the event. Prior to the live telecast, KVK officials briefed participants on improved agricultural technologies, scientific farming practices, and ongoing initiatives tailored for high-altitude agriculture, including updates under the National Mission on Natural Farming.
The event concluded with an open interaction, where farmers discussed local challenges and opportunities in agriculture, reaffirming the role of KVK Nyoma as a crucial support hub for farmers in the Changthang region.
