Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, twenty-two new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 304 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 233 sample reports in Leh and 47 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that five patients were cured and discharged. All patients were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh has received twenty-two positive sample reports. Twenty-one positive samples reports received by CMO Leh one positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 92, out of which 91 active cases are in Leh district and 1 active case is in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1916 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 598
passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse, 257 were screened at Upshi check post.
