The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Director, Social and Tribal Welfare Department, Ladakh, Ms. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS); District Programme Officer, ICDS Leh, A.G. Zargar (JKAS); National Manager, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, Mr. Allath Santosh; and Regional Manager, Mr. Chandan Kumar.

Director Kunzes Angmo lauded the Trust’s initiative, highlighting its importance in improving child nutrition in Ladakh’s remote areas. DPO A.G. Zargar assured continuous monitoring and full departmental support for effective implementation, expressing gratitude to the Trust for its partnership in promoting child health and well-being.

As part of the launch, chocolate and milk powder drinks were distributed to children, symbolizing the start of the nutrition drive.

National Manager Mr. Allath Santosh shared that the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, established in 2015, is dedicated to eradicating child hunger and promoting holistic nutrition for school-going children.
