Leh: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, chaired a meeting in the presence of DC/CEO, LAHDC Leh, Romil Singh Donk.
The meeting was attended by CPO, Tsewang Gyalson; AD Tourism Padma Angmo; President ALTOA, Tsewang Dorjey; General Secretary ALTOA, Tsewang Namgyal; Vice President ALHGHA, Nawang Tashi and Lobzang Tsendol; Dr. Fatima Bano, Accounts Assistant, Tourism Dept and Abhijeet Singh from Ernst & Young, Tourism Department.
The officials held an extensive discussion on the ITB Berlin initiative.Abhijeet Singh from Ernst & Young gave a comprehensive briefing to the Hon’ble CEC, outlining the necessary steps, procedures, and technical aspects required for successful execution.
Discussions covered the timelines and procedures for the tendering process, the need to designate a suitable authority, as well as matters related to invoices and financial formalities. The participants engaged in a detailed exchange on how to streamline the entire process to ensure smooth and effective participation of Ladakh in the global event.
It was also decided that a follow-up meeting will be convened to review the progress.
