U-DISE Orientation Training Program, Review Meeting concludes in Kargil

U-DISE Orientation Training Program, Review Meeting concludes in Kargil

Kargil: A comprehensive orientation training program on U-DISE (Unified District Information System for Education) was successfully conducted Thursday for the U-DISE in-charges of all Primary and Middle Schools of Kargil Zone.

The session was organized under the able leadership of the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kargil, Mrs. Nargis Banoo, and held at the Assembly Hall of Government Primary School Balti Bazar, Kargil.

The training session was facilitated by District U-DISE Coordinator, Mohd Ali, who served as the master trainer.

The program was also graced by Mr. Zakir Hussain, Incharge MDM, Kargil Zone. The participants were guided through key updates and best practices related to U-DISE data management for strengthening the educational data ecosystem across the zone.

Following the training, a Review Meeting was convened at 2:00 PM at the same venue. ZEO Kargil, Mrs. Nargis Banoo, led an extensive discussion with the Headmasters of all Primary and Middle Schools in the zone, focusing on academic progress, PM Poshan implementation, and ongoing development projects.

During the meeting, ZEO Madam stressed the critical importance of updating PM Poshan data regularly on the MIS portal.

In a moment of appreciation, the Headmaster of the Cluster Centre, Mohd Hussai, Govt. Middle School Doks Chutumail, was honored with a traditional Khataq and a gift hamper for their consistent and timely data entry, which positioned the cluster as the top performer in the zone.

She further emphasized aligning all academic activities and progress with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, reinforcing the commitment to holistic and experiential learning. ZEO Madam also gave a patient hearing to the various concerns raised by school heads and assured swift resolution of the actionable issues within her jurisdiction, while the rest would be taken up with higher authorities.

The session concluded with ZEO Madam extending her heartfelt appreciation to all schools for their unwavering cooperation and dedication in fostering quality education and systemic excellence in the Kargil Zone.
