Kargil: In Ladakh, a Parent-Teacher Meeting and Village Education Committee (VEC) Welcome Program was held Monday at Government Middle School Gound Minjee in Kargil district.
The event was organized under the leadership of the Headmaster of the school, with the aim of enhancing cooperation between parents and teachers for the all-round development of students.
On this occasion, newly constituted Village Education Committees were formally welcomed, reaffirming the community’s active role in promoting quality education.
Representatives from the 17000 Ft Foundation also attended the event and assured their continued support for educational initiatives in the region.
Councillor of Baroo-Minjee Constituency, Advocate Khadim Hussain, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
In his address, he stressed the importance of community participation in strengthening the education system and appreciated the efforts of the teaching staff and VEC members.
The program concluded with an interactive session, allowing parents, teachers, and community members to share ideas and concerns to further improve the learning environment.
