LEH: 19th Kailash Running Trophy Cricket Tournament 2025 organized by ‘Nyoma Youth Associatio’ in collaboration with District Administration under the Vibrant Village Programme.
With great excitement and enthusiasm, the 19th edition of the Kailash Running Trophy Cricket Tournament 2025 kicked off at the picturesque Waste Naga Ground, Nyoma, bringing together 25 teams from across the Changthang region.
This prestigious tournament is more than just a cricket competition—it’s a celebration of unity, integrity, and brotherhood among the youth of our region.
The opening match was held between Nyoma Senior and NCC Yellow, marking a spirited beginning to what promises to be an unforgettable season of cricket, sportsmanship, and community bonding.
Set amidst the breathtaking landscape of Changthang, this tournament aims to: Encourage youth participation in sports; Promote healthy lifestyles and team spirit; Deter youth from falling into drug abuse and antisocial behaviour, and Strengthen the sense of belonging and pride in our local identity.
This initiative stands as a shining example of how sports can unite communities, nurture talent, and sow the seeds of a healthier and more vibrant future for Ladakh’s youth.
