LEH: A soldier made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in Siachen Glacier- the world’s highest battlefield, the Army said on Sunday.
They said Naib Subedar Baldev Singh, made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in Siachen glacier.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Army’s Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps paid tribute to Naib Subedar Singh
“GOC, Fire and Fury Corps and All Ranks salute Naib Subedar Baldev Singh, who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in #SiachenGlacier on 20 Apr 2025 and offer deep condolences to the bereaved family in this hour of grief, ” Fire and Fury Corps said in a social media post on X.
The Army, however, did not reveal the exact circumstances leading to the death of the soldier.
