Leh: The Drug and Food Control Organisation conducted an awareness-cum-interaction session with the parents and teachers/lecturers of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Leh on ‘Prevention of Drug Abuse and Drug Addiction on the Adolescents and Children’.

During the session, the parents and the teachers were apprised of the important and active role that they can play in the prevention of the menace of drug abuse and addiction in the students and children.
Similarly, the students, parents and teachers were also briefed about monitoring the prices of medicines and the measures to follow while purchasing medicines.

The participants of the awareness session were distributed copy of advisory related to medicines issued by the Ladakh Price Monitoring and Resource Unit (LPMRU).
