Zoji La Day: Ladakh Pays Tribute to 1947–48 Bravehearts

Kargil, Nov 2, 2025: Ladakh residents and the Indian Army paid solemn homage to the soldiers who fought the historic Battle of Zoji La during the 1947–48 operations. A ceremony at the Zojila War Memorial in Gumri, Dras brought together veterans and community members from Dras, Matayan and Pandras, honouring the unmatched courage and sacrifice of the Bravehearts who secured the strategic pass.
