Leh, April 11: The valedictory session of a six-day Basic Course in Smartphone Filmmaking concluded on a high note at Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, marking a successful collaboration between the Ladakh Skill Development Mission and the Film and Television Institute of India.
The intensive training programme, guided by noted visual communication professional Ajmal Jami, saw the participation of 36 students who were trained in key aspects of smartphone filmmaking, including storytelling, framing, editing, and production techniques.
The course culminated in a special screening of short films created by the participants, which stood out as the highlight of the event. The films showcased the students’ creativity, technical skills, and diverse storytelling approaches developed during the training.
Faculty members and dignitaries present on the occasion appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants, praising the initiative for equipping youth with practical skills and hands-on exposure in the field of filmmaking.
