Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche to visit Ladakh next year

LEH: Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche is going to visit Ladakh union territory next year and conduct meditation sessions at Mahabodhi International Meditation Center (MIMC).

It was a delightful surprise to meet Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport at Bangkok, on our way back to India.

MIMC President Bhikkhu Sanghasena said, “While waiting for the departure, we had a quality time together engaging a discussion covering a wide range of current world affairs and the Buddhist approach to challenges faced by the current world.”

On invitation of Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Mingur Rinpoche has agreed to visit Ladakh next year and conduct meditation sessions at MIMC.

Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche is one of the contemporary renowned Buddhist Meditation masters of the Karma Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism.

He is the author of his popular book “The Joy of Living, In Love with the World and Joyful Wisdom”
