
WWF India delegation briefs CEC Tashi Gyalson about planned projects for Ladakh
Leh: Officer in charge, Western Himalayas Programme, WWF India, Rohit Rattan, and Senior Education Officer, EE Division, WWF India, Rigzin Dawa made a courtesy call to Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson Saturday.
The officials briefed CEC Gyalson about various planned projects for the UT of Ladakh.
They further apprised H’CEC about the recent signing of an MoU with the Directorate of School Education, Ladakh, for the ‘Mission Khoryug’ and various other works planned in the Changthang region of Leh district.
They also shared about the conservation interventions and environmental education initiatives of WWF-India undertaken in Ladakh to date.
They also shared resource materials including publications and posters of state animal, maps of Ladakh, etc. with the Chairman.
CEC Tashi Gyalson appreciated their initiatives and further assured to extend his assistance to the organisation for various programs in the future.
