Leh: The Drugs and Food Control Organisation, Leh and Ladakh Price Monitoring and Resource Unit in collaboration with Block Medical Officer, Disket, Nubra organised a workshop- cum-interaction session with Govt Pharmacists and Chemist of Nubra block at Sub-District Hospital, Disket Nubra.
The workshop focused on prevention of drug abuse/addiction among adolescents and children.
It also deliberated on the availability, affordability, accessibility and quality of drugs under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Consumer Awareness, Publicity and Price Monitoring (CAPPM).
Drugs Controller, UT Ladakh, Mohd Bashir; Dr Shabir MD; Drugs Control Officer, Leh, Nasreen Bano; Project Coordinator LPMRU, Nawang Tsetan and Field Investigator LPMRU Nazia Kouser were main resource persons who conducted the session.
