Workshop for CHOs begins at GNM Hall Kargil

Kargil: State Health Agency, UT Ladakh Thursday started a three-day comprehensive workshop for Community Health Officers (CHOs) of Kargil District at GNM Hall, AMT School Kargil.

The workshop focused on training and enabling CHOs to facilitate self-registration for Ayushman Golden Card Registration through the Beneficiary Identification System (BIS). On the first day of the training program, CHOs from Shargole and Kargil Block participated.

Shabir Hussain, State Program Manager PMJAY Ladakh took a practical session and taught the CHOs about ‘How to do self-registration’ on the BIS Portal.

This workshop served as a vital platform to empower CHOs with the knowledge and skills required to support the registration process. Pertinently, the CHOs of other Blocks will be trained on Sep 15 and 16, 2023 respectively.
