Leh: The week-long ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at Government Degree College Nobra culminated today with a valedictory session that showcased the enthusiasm and patriotic spirit of students.
Throughout the campaign, students engaged in various activities aimed at promoting awareness about the national flag and the Constitution. On August 5, they interacted with local residents to highlight the importance of the Tiranga. On August 8, a live demonstration on the proper protocol for hoisting and folding the national flag was presented to an online audience.
The final day featured speeches by students Sanju Kumari and Zara Batul, who spoke about the history and significance of the national flag and the campaign. A quiz competition titled “Know Your Constitution and National Symbols” followed, with three teams from different semesters participating. Winners were awarded for their outstanding performance.
Professor Rigzin Sangdup, the college principal, delivered the closing address, emphasizing the importance of adhering to flag protocols and encouraging students to embrace a strong sense of nationalism. The campaign was organized under the guidance of Assistant Professor Jegmet Sangyas from the Political Science department.
