A delegation comprising 39 Veer Naris, 06 Ex-Servicemen and 53 children visited Kargil War Memorial on 26 May 2026 under the aegis of Dras Warriors Brigade in coordination with Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha. The visit was organised to honour the supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers and to acquaint the younger generation with the rich military heritage and traditions of the Armed Forces.
The delegation paid homage to the martyrs at the War Memorial and witnessed various exhibits highlighting the courage, valour and sacrifices of the Indian Army during Kargil War. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by Veer Naris, veterans and children.
During the interaction, the attendees were motivated to uphold the values of patriotism, discipline and national service. The children were inspired by the stories of bravery and dedication displayed by the Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation under challenging conditions.
The visit concluded with an interactive session and group interaction, wherein the participants appreciated the initiative undertaken by the Indian Army and Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha towards fostering national pride and preserving the legacy of the bravehearts.
