Vigilance Awareness Week: GDC Drass holds essay competition

Kargil: As part of the Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, GDC Drass, under the headship of Principal Dr Amjad Ali Abassi, organized essay competition under the theme of “Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers”.

Around 20 students participated in the competition showcasing its importance with full enthusiasm. The cultural committee along with Assistant Professor Stanzin Stamdin, Department of English and Dr Zahoor Ahmad Malik, Department of Economics, Irshad Rashid Sofi (TTM) and Dr Masrat Hamzah Lone, Department of Urdu conducted the essay competition.

The result of the competition was declared on the same day. Syed Mehmood Shah of 5th Semester, Shabana Bashir and Mohd Hussain (both from 1st Semester) secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Position holders were awarded with prizes.
