Leh: Due to erratic weather conditions, intermittent snowfall in higher reaches, extreme cold and slippery road surface, the road from Upshi to Sarchu has been closed this morning for any kind of vehicluar traffic.
A notice in this regard has been issued by District Magistrate, Leh. The notice also said that all BRO resources deployed on the road has also been with drawn citing above mentioned reasons.
The administrations has advised the general public and tourist to not ply on Upshi to Sarchu and if they do so it will be purely on their own risk, said the notice.
