ULB Director reviews beautification, revamping process of major road ahead of G20 meetings

Leh: In the run-up to host first ever G20 Summit in Ladakh in April, Director, Urban Local Bodies (ULB) Ladakh, Dr. Zahida Bano conducted an extensive tour of major roads from Airport to Zen Hotel for beautification and revamping process.

Director Dr. Zahida Bano was accompanied by Chief Engineer, Tashi Chombel ; Joint Director, Information Department, UT Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho; Exen E&B, Skalzang Dorjey; Assistant Director, Information Department ,Leh, Dr. Tundup Namgyal and officials from concerned Department during the extensive tour.

All the major roads from Airport to Zen Hotel are to be beautified and revamped ahead of G20 meeting being held in the UT.

The team inspected various areas and spots to be taken up for face-lifting.

Ladakh is going host youth20 (Y20) pre-summit under the aegis of G-20 from April 26 to 28.
