Abu Dhabhi: A day after the sad demise of President Sheikh Khalifa, UAE has elected crown prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the new president of the country.
The decision was taken by therulers of the country’s seven sheikhdoms at a meeting held at Al-Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.
WAM described the vote as unanimous among the rulers of the country’s sheikhdoms.
