Govt relieves three Engineers from Ladakh; orders transfers, postings of 9

Two IAS, 1 IPS shifted to Ladakh, Anayat gets J&K


LEH: After Leh, Kargil is also set to get a new district police chief as the union ministry of home affairs (MHA) has ordered transfer of current Superintendent of Police Anayat Ali Chowdhary from Ladakh to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two senior IAS officers have been transferred to the union territory of Ladakh, along with an IPS officer, as the MHA carried out a significant administrative overhaul, ordering transfer and posting for 13 IAS and 17 IPS Officers of the AGMUT (Arunachal, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories) cadre.

Dr Laltinkhuma Franklin, IAS (AGMUT: 2006) and Vikram Singh Malik, IAS Delhi Ladakh (AGMUT: 2012) have been shifted from Delhi to Ladakh, while Shiv Kumar, IPS have been shifted from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh, and Anayat Ali Chowdhary, IPS (AGMUT: 2017) from Ladakh to Jammu & Kashmir.

Dr Laltinkhuma Franklin is currently posted as Managing Director, Delhi Khadi Village Industries Board, Govt of National capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), New Delhi, with additional charge of Special Commissioner, Development.

Also, this is Vikram Singh Malik’s third posting in a year. In January 2023, he was posted as Special Secretary, Home Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, while a week ago, he was transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM for North East Delhi. Shiv Kumar is currently posted as Principal PTTI, Vijaypur, in Samba district.
