Sankoo:— In a significant stride towards enhancing the effectiveness of the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) initiative, a comprehensive two-day orientation training programme concluded today at Imam Bargah Thang Sankoo. Organized by the Office of the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Sankoo under the PM POSHAN Scheme, the training witnessed enthusiastic participation from cooks and helpers representing the majority of schools across the Sankoo Zone.
The programme, held over August 18 and 19, aimed to equip MDM staff with essential knowledge on hygiene practices, nutritional standards, and efficient meal preparation techniques to ensure the well-being of students. The sessions were designed to foster best practices and elevate the quality of service delivery in school kitchens.
The training was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. Akbar Ali Khan, Zonal Education Officer Sankoo, and Sh. Ali Rehmat Cho, ZEPO Sankoo, whose guidance and encouragement added immense value to the initiative.
