
Tsewang Norboo resigns as LBA GCM from Wakha
Kargil: Tsewang Norboo has resigned as the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) GCM from Wakha village in Kargil district.
Norboo tended his resignation immediately after a dispute among the Buddhist C0mmunity members of Kargil.
In his resignation letter, Norboo said, “Keeping in view the current ongoing situation in LBA Kargil due to unfortunate dispute between me and Skarma Dadul as President of LBA Kargil, I do hereby resign from the post of GCM Wakha.”
Norboo said that he resigned in order to maintain the unity and harmony among Buddhist minority of Kargil.
However, it is very sad to know that LBA Leh and Skarma Dadul have not respected the process of moving No Confidence Motion as per constitution of LBA, he asserted.
He further alleged that unnecessary interference from LBA Leh in the internal matter of Kargil has created all these disputes leading to disunity, disharmony among the Buddhists of Kargil.
“I wish my resignation from LBA Kargil will help maintain the unity of Buddhist minorities of Kargil,” He hoped.
