Training prog for Haj-2023 pilgrims rescheduled on May 15

KARGIL: The administration Thursday rescheduled the Orientation cum Training of Haj-2023 Pilgrims on May 15, 2023.

The program will start at 11.00 AM at Auditorium Hall Kargil coming Monday.

As per the reports, a total of 475 Haj applications were filed from UT Ladakh for Haj Pilgrimage 2023 and in a historic achievement, all the 475 applications were approved by the Ministry of Minority Affairs which is the nodal ministry to conduct Haj pilgrimage in India.

The previous day, at LOC Village Turtuk, for the first time in the history of Ladakh a training programme for 53 selected Haj pilgrims from Nubra Valley was organized.

The training programme was held under the Chairmanship of President Haj Committee Ladakh Mohd Ali Majaz.

Similarly, on May 8, Haj Committee UT Ladakh orgainsed an orientation, training programme for the provisionally selected Haj pilgrims for the year 2023 from Leh district at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra Leh.

Regarding the training at Auditorium Hall Kargil on May 15, Mohd Ali Majaz requested the Haj aspirants to attend the said training on the scheduled date and time.
