Tourist Police rescue high altitude bikers in display of prompt assistance

LEH: In yet another display of efficiency and concern for tourist safety, the Leh Police, acting upon a call from the Police Control Room regarding two bikers experiencing difficulties on their way to Nubra near Khardong La, swiftly sprang into action.

Two bikers, struggling with high-altitude challenges, were in a precarious situation until the Tourist Police wing of District Police Leh received the alert.

The Tourist Police promptly mobilized a rescue operation to aid the stranded individuals. The Bikers were provided essential assistance and support ensuring they received the necessary aid to mitigate their altitude-related concerns. Following this, the Tourist Police escorted the bikers until they safely crossed the Khardongla top.

District Police Leh reaffirms our pledge to continue providing exemplary service and support to tourists, ensuring their experiences in the region remain safe, memorable, and enjoyable.
