Leh: The Union Territory of Ladakh has observed several programmes like Swachhta Run and Pledge Ceremonies to observe World Toilet Day.

As per official handout, on the occasion of World Toilet Day several events, including Swachhta Run and Pledge Ceremonies were organised in different panchayats of Leh district such as Saboo, Kharu, Saspol, Partapur, Thiksay, Chuchot, etc.
BDC Chairpersons, Assistant Commissioner Development,Leh, District Panchayat Officer, Leh, Block Development Officers and Sarpanchs were the dignitaries in these events which were organised by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Leh in collaboration with School Education Department.
