Students get rousing welcome after winter break in Kargil
Leh: After a long winter break, both government and private schools in Kargil have reopened today, and the teachers welcomed the students back warmly.

As directed by the Director of School Education Ladakh, Dr Safdar Ali, the teachers organized a special program on the first day of school to welcome the students.
The children were met with beaming faces and walked into the campus ready for joyful learning. Exciting discussions with friends only added to their energy on this first day back.

To welcome the students, the teachers conducted a special assembly and presented them with traditional Khataqs. The day began with seeking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by a welcome speech from a school teacher.
A host of learning activities were planned for the students, and the Headmaster of the school also addressed them and distributed sweets to them.
