October 13, Leh — A National Integration Tour comprising 25 students and three teachers from Tia, Temisgam, and Tingmosgang villages of Ladakh is currently visiting Delhi and Agra. The students are exploring iconic landmarks such as India Gate, the Red Fort, and the Taj Mahal, gaining firsthand exposure to India’s rich history and architectural heritage. The programme aims to foster stronger bonds between the youth of Ladakh and their peers across the country.
Officials noted that such tours provide students with a broader understanding of India’s cultural, historical, and social diversity. By visiting national monuments and interacting with people from other regions, students develop a sense of national pride, civic awareness, and an appreciation for the country’s shared heritage.
Beyond cultural learning, these tours also contribute to personal growth and confidence-building.
