LEH: The Ladakh government on Friday allocated the functions related to STPs of PHE, Divisions to Igoo-Phey-Division, Leh.
“In the interest of administration and smooth implementation of the Projects/Schemes of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), it is hereby ordered that the functions related to Sewerage Treatment Plants (STPs) and projects in UT of Ladakh shall be looked after by Igoo-Phey Division, Leh with immediate effect, till further orders,” said an official order issued by Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Commissioner/ Secretary, Public Health Engineering/I&FC Department, Ladakh.

Further, the government has appointed Chief Engineer, PHE/I&FC Ladakh as the Nodal Officer for smooth transition of the STP related functions to Igoo-Phey Division, Leh.
It also directed the concerned Executive Engineers of the PHE and Igoo-Phey Divisions to handover & take over all the projects under execution and all the documents and records related to STP projects within a period of 15 days.
