Kargil: EY-Foundation (Leh), in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School Trespone, successfully conducted a “STEM for Girls” programme aimed at empowering young female innovators for a better tomorrow.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of girl students from Government Council Model High School Goma Kargil, Government High School Minjee, and JAME Kargil, along with their respective science teachers.
The program focused on introducing students to innovative teaching and learning methods through an integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach.
The visiting students were taken on a guided tour of the science and astronomy laboratories, where they explored comprehensive and creative teaching aids developed by the students of HSS Trespone under the mentorship of their teachers.
In addition to indoor sessions, outdoor demonstrations were also held, aimed at simplifying complex scientific concepts and principles through hands-on activities.
The Principal Govt. HSS Trespone, Sajjad Hussain (Sajjad Sir), expressed his gratitude to all visiting students and faculty members for their active participation and appreciated the collaborative spirit of the event.
The program served as a platform to inspire and motivate young girls towards scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation.
